The Gaylord KOA is surrounded by 70 acres of natural beauty in Northern Michigan. Located on the 45th parallel, the Alpine Village of Gaylord has unique stores and wonderful restaurants. Be sure to stop and say hello to the elk herd! There are numerous places to fish, hike, and bike, such as the North Central State Trail from Gaylord to Cheboygan. Take a day trip to Mackinaw City, Thunder Bay Underwater Preserve or the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum. In season, go hunting for tasty morel mushrooms. Also, enjoy several festivals in the area all season long, including the Big Ticket Festival and Alpenfest!

We have plenty of fun here, with ice cream socials, hayrides, candy hunts and arts and crafts! The kids can go swimming in our heated pool or play on the two playgrounds. Play mini golf, horseshoes, shuffleboard, volleyball or rent funbikes! Your furry friends will love our Kamp K9 Bark Park! You can stay in touch with our FREE Wi-Fi throughout the park. We now have CABLE TV on all of our full hook up sites and a select few of our water/electric pull through sites!

Golfers have come to the right place, with 22 championship courses and many different levels of play to choose from. You're right in the heart of the Gaylord Golf Mecca!

We are Big Rig friendly and we welcome groups! Whether you come every year, haven't been here for awhile, or are new to our park, we can't wait to say HELLO!

Please Note: In an effort to protect the trees from the Emerald Ash Borer, we will no longer permit any of our guests to bring their own firewood of any kind. The state of Michigan recommends no moving of firewood in the State and no outside wood brought into any campgrounds.
